Jesus, a young carpenter from Nazareth, attends the constant calling of God. He goes into the desert and gathers followers, spreading a doctrine of love and redemption. But he is filled with doubts: could the visions be products of his imagination? Is the price of fulfilling his mission too high? When the time for the supreme sacrifice comes, a supernatural manifestation shows him an alternative to his pain and suffering.
