Shot in Boyle Heights in East Los Angeles—a neighborhood historically formed by cultural transition—the film resonates with the poetry of local resident Mapkaulu Roger Nduku. Verses about endings, existing within, and passing through, open up the space projected. Together a string of visual tableaus form a portrait of place and compose a goodbye letter to a temporary home.
