Daniela Michel told El Universal that the current situation of women has improved, but much remains to be done. "I remember when I started with the Short Film Cycles at the Cineteca Nacional 20 years ago, it was a very different Mexico, it was much more difficult, but I think that women today have many more forums, empowerment and voice; that's why I think it's important that young women take this place and fight to keep it. "

She also stressed that "in the country there are very admirable women. My advice is that among women we support each other, let's celebrate others for their work ."

The event was attended by outstanding women from politics, entertainment, sports, science and culture.
