Kaoticni Zivot Nade Kadic by Marta Hernaiz was presented at the 16th FICM

Marta Hernaiz.

With the presence of director Marta Hernaiz, Mariana Rodríguez —sound design— and Paco Espinal —producer—, the film Kaoticni Zivot Nade Kadic (The Chaotic Life of Nada Kadić), which is part of the Mexican Feature Film Section of the 16th edition of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). The post-production was completed with the Impulso Morelia 2 award, which she won in 2016.

The filmmaker Kyzza Terrazas presented his most recent film Bayoneta, a competitor in the Mexican Feature Film Section of the 16th edition of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) at a press conference. Alejandro Pelayo, director of the Cineteca Nacional, held a brief talk for young students at the 16th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). Pelayo gave the attendees a general overview of the history of this institution since its foundation on January 17 of 1974, before it was in Coyoacán, Mexico City.

Alejandro Pelayo presents El Rincón de las Vírgenes, by Alberto Isaac, at the 16th FICM

As part of the 70’s Mexican Film of the Cineteca Nacional, the director of the institution, Alejandro Pelayo, presented El Rincón de las Vírgenes (1972), film directed by the filmmaker Alberto Isaac, inspired by a couple of stories included in El Llano en Llamas, by Juan Rulfo, which narrates the misadventures of the healer Anacleto Morones, who toured the landscapes of Comala saving souls through pleasure.
