A 13-year-old, Arturo, sets off on a trip with his friend Roberto to visit family in the south of Mexico. Their relation, normally competitive and violent, takes a turn for the worse when Arturo’s uncle takes them on an adult adventure in the bowels of a border town. Between wine bottles, table football, and brothels, Arturo will have to make a decision to find out if he really is who he thinks he is.
