11 · 13 · 13 New rule for the Mexican Feature Section at FICM 2014 Share with twitter Share with facebook Share with mail Copy to clipboard The call for the Mexican Feature Section at FICM 2014 includes a new requirement: participating films cannot have premiered in Mexico prior to their presentation at FICM. Those interested in being part of the competition at FICM 2014 must do so before the commercial premiere of their film and before its participation in other showings and festivals in Mexico. This rule only applies to Mexican fiction feature films. In other words, all Mexican features that comply with the following rules are eligible for submission: they must be completed between 2013-2014; they must have a running time of a minimum of 60 minutes with a final format in 35mm, Digital Cinema or HD; and they must not have premiered in Mexico.
