Cine Qua Non Lab announces its Call for Applicants for its 2017 Script Revision Lab in English for narrative feature films

The Script Revision Lab in English is a two-week residential workshop that gives independent screenwriters from around the world the opportunity to work intensively on their feature-length narrative scripts in an environment structured to foster professional collaboration and high-quality script development.

The lab will take place in Tzintzuntzan, a small town in the State of Michoacan, Mexico, approximately 50 km from the city of Morelia. The workshop, writing, and living spaces are tucked amidst the beauty of the Sierra Madre Mountains, overlooking Lake Patzcuaro, a quiet natural retreat.

The lab will be held from Sunday, August 6th, through Saturday, August 19th, 2017. Ten filmmakers from around the world will be selected to participate. Applications will only be accepted for completed narrative feature scripts that are ready for the revision process. Only writers or writer/directors developing their first or second narrative feature film are eligible to apply.

The lab will be held in English. All participants must have a good knowledge of English.
